The Department of Risk Management and Insurance manages operational risk, insurance, and claims for the university. Risk Management can facilitate the resolution of matters relating to property and casualty insurance, student insurance, and occupational health.
This department can help with issues regarding:
- Theft or damage to university property, equipment, or funds
- Legitimacy of an on-the-job injury or illness
- Misuse of university property, equipment, or vehicles
- Fraudulent use of (injury) i-time, workers' compensation benefits or absences from work
- Unpaid workers' compensation bills, benefits, or expenses
